Review
The NordicTrack INCLINE TRAINER X9I is one of the best incline trainers on the market today if not the best on the market right now in 2012. With the features the NordicTrack INCLINE TRAINER X9I packs it’s definitely worth the extra money.
First of all the X9I has a built in tablet and can connect to your home network. This is something to consider before purchasing the machine. You want to make sure you’ve got a wireless router that will allow the treadmill to connect to so it can get on the internet.
I think one of the best features of this machine is its ability to incline and decline based on the route you specify in Google Maps. The incline on this machine is massive. Its impressive ability to map the terrain in Google Maps is sure to impress anybody who used the machine.
That means you’ll be able to now accurately work out based on a real route you run outside or plan on running. This will prepare you for your run without any surprises. The machine also includes fans, apps and even a cardio belt.
What Is The NordicTrack INCLINE TRAINER X9I
The NordicTrack INCLINE TRAINER X9I is the best incline treadmill on the market to date. You won’t find a treadmill that boasts as many features as this machine does. From the large touch display to the integrated apps this machine comes with you’ll be impressed every time you use the thing.
This treadmill also has the best incline and decline on the market today. You’ll be burning many calories in no time just by adjusting the incline. You can also select a route with a hefty incline from Google Maps. This has got to be one of the best features on the machine.
Each user that uses this treadmill will be able to setup their own user profile to make sure each use is being tracked correctly. All of the Julian Michaels workout videos and apps are built into the machine itself. You won’t have to buy the extra cartridge to get these features.

Is The NordicTrack INCLINE TRAINER X9I Worth The Money?
We just got this treadmill a couple weeks ago and I absolutely love it! I don’t regret spending the money on it at all. In fact, I probably would have spent over 2k for this machine because I enjoy it so much. I use the thing every single day. The only thing I suggest is you buy a pad to go under the machine. I’ve got carpet in the basement and it was a good idea to get the pad to fit under it. They run about 30 bucks.
My Conclusion
If you’re looking to get real with your work outs you need this machine. While the price tag is a little higher than some of the other treadmills you’ll absolutely love this machine. The warranty is great that’s included and the features are amazing.
NordicTrack INCLINE TRAINER X9I,

We got our x9i about 2 weeks ago, about 2 weeks later than it was promised to be here. Not a big problem, but annoying to wait for it without getting any delivery updates.
We bought it with the “premium delivery” package where they also set it up for you. The guys who delivered it were friendly and did a good job, the problem was that the plastic parts did not fit together and all of the upper plastic parts were deeply scratched and paint was chipped off in some areas. Not a problem the guys said, we note it on the delivery papers and they will send somebody to replace it. That was two weeks and SIX ! e-mails and calls to the Nordic Track “customer service”. Nothing has happened besides them asking which parts they need to send me.
Well, they do not need to send _me_ anything, I gave them the defective part numbers several times and they keep asking the same stupid question again and again.
I am at this point getting ready to contact my credit card company to get me my money back because of internet fraud.
Looking at the treadmill itself, it worked pretty well. The google street view is very slow in updating (despite a 30 Mbit internet connection and no perfomance problems on the PCs), but still a neat feature. The menu structure is easy enough so the whole family could use it without significant learning effort.
The “IPOD ready/compatible” is a darn freaking lie. All they provide is a speaker hookup that allows you to plug in any device that can use headphones. What a darn joke… despite a USB connector on the side, there is zero control for any music device in the system besides volume control of the speakers. What a joke.
The other thing that they do not tell you is that the “ifit included” only includes a useless basic membership that does not allow you to use any of the functionality that they advertise (maps download etc.). If you want to use the functions they sell you, you will have to pay $100 per year for the ifit membership…. Nice… I hope that enough people will fight this in a class action lawsuit.
Bottom line, with all the poor quality, non existent customer support and lies in the product description, I would not buy it again or recommend it to anybody. On the other hand, if you want the incline – it works and really gives you a workout…
Love it…….when it works. The damn thing resets on its own, constantly. And now it gets stuck on 1 mile per hour and none of the buttons work. The issues get worse everyday. Perhaps there’s a virus in the computer. I called nordick track and after 25 minutes waiting for someone to talk to…she was very helpful and said she would send a new console and someone to install it. Welll, that was two weeks and two days ago. Still not here. I’ll keep you posted. Don’t think I would purchase from there again.
